Industries
Nonprofits, built and run for a small team
Who we help
Charities and community organizations with small teams and big calendars.
- Community nonprofits running events and appeals
- Charities moving off an old website that's hard to update
- Associations that sign members and volunteers up online
Outcomes
What changes when the work is done well. We agree the measures with you in discovery.
- A website your team doesn't have to maintain, with causes, events and news kept current
- Donations through Stripe or PayPal on your own site
- Every event attendee becomes a contact, with follow-up that names what they cared about
- Event reports and a recap for sponsors, without a spreadsheet marathon
What we do
A website and the Ceety Platform, with fields and wording set up for nonprofits.
What this covers
- Websites with causes, events, team and gallery pages, fast and accessible
- Online donations with Stripe and PayPal
- Event pages and sign-up, QR check-in at the door, and follow-up texts after
- Branded QR codes for flyers and signs that track every scan
- Contacts for supporters and volunteers, with email and text through your own domain
Compliance and security
- Consent recorded with the exact words; service and marketing texts consented to separately
- Unsubscribe links on every email, and a suppression list checked before every send
- Websites that pass automated accessibility checks
Example use cases
Typical work, from a site rebuild to a full events program.
- African Ambassadors (nonprofit): the site rebuilt from an old Joomla install, with causes, events, team, gallery and Stripe donations
- A community event: a public event page, QR check-in, every attendee a contact, and a recap for sponsors
- An appeal: a donation page and a follow-up email to supporters, with unsubscribes honored
Integrations
What the website and the Ceety Platform connect to.
- Stripe and PayPal for donations
- Google Workspace (Calendar and Gmail) and Zoom
- Texting through Twilio, and email from your own domain
Compliance and security
Supporters trust you with their details. We build to keep that trust.
- Your data kept separate from every other client's, in private, encrypted storage
- STOP and the carriers' opt-out words honored everywhere
- Each person on their own login, with role-based access and an audit trail that cannot be edited
- Forms protected against bots with Cloudflare Turnstile
How we work
Done for you, approved by you. Nothing is built until you approve the blueprint.
- Free consultation: a conversation about your business, what you have and what you want
- Discovery and blueprint: how you work, the rules you live under and exactly what we'll build, approved by you
- Build: we design, build, set up and connect everything, and you approve each step
- Run: we host, maintain, secure and improve it, with a person in charge of every automated action
Timeline
Dates are estimates we confirm after discovery, not promises.
- Discover: typically 1–2 weeks
- The Ceety Platform: provisioned from a tested template, typically in days rather than months
- Custom builds: a first working release typically within 6–10 weeks
- After launch: we run and improve it, and you approve what changes
Engagement options
Start from a plan, own what we build, or have it engineered for you.
- A plan: your website and the Ceety Platform, built and run for you, starting with a free consultation (see pricing)
- Own it: a website or custom app built for a one-off price and handed over with the code
- Custom: a larger site, member portal or integration, quoted after a paid assessment
- Always: your data is yours, and you can export it at any time
FAQs
Straight answers to the questions nonprofits ask us most.
- Can people donate on our website?
- Yes, through Stripe, as on African Ambassadors' site, or PayPal if you prefer.
- Can you run our events?
- The event center covers event pages, sign-up, QR check-in, follow-up texts and reports. It doesn't sell tickets or take payments at events.
- Our website is old and hard to update. Can you replace it?
- Yes. We rebuilt African Ambassadors' site from an old Joomla install, and we can host and maintain yours or hand it over.
- Which plans include events?
- Growth, Pro and Custom. On Essentials, events are an add-on.
